Sales are being agreed faster – and conveyancing is at risk of becoming the slowest part of the chain

At the start of 2026, it was taking an average of 81 days to find a buyer, but by June, that figure had reduced to 62 days. On the surface, it’s positive news for the property market – but it also creates a challenge for conveyancing firms.
